Liska contains over 500 Jewish historical sites, from cemeteries to synagogues, embodying a storied heritage. With nearly 3,000 Jewish residents in the late 19th century, Liska was a thriving center of Jewish culture. Liska’s heritage resonates in neighboring communities such as Kerestir and throughout Hungary. Today, Liska attracts around 5,000 visitors annually, each drawn by its historical and spiritual significance.
